LED Tubes fixture better than the old fluorescent tube lights

LED Tubes fixture better than the old fluorescent tube lights!

Wow, what a difference 1 light tube is brighter than the 2 fluorescents, will be ordering more. They were easy to install.

Here is a photo of 1 LED tube (on right) vs the 2 fluoresents (on Left)

LED Linear Tubes Recommendation: External complete PC material for being insulating

A few years back I installed a used florescent light fixture in my garage. The light fixture had four t10 tubes and two ballasts.

The light worked great during the summer months. But if it rained or was humid, or during the winter months getting the light to turn on was nearly impossible. Very frustrating when you need to get something fixed or want to work on a project but can't.

I could have replaced the ballast and bulbs and solve the problem. Then there was also the annoying constant hum....

Anyways I bought two (HTlights t8 LED's 4000K 18W Tubes) of these lights and 4 tombstones. I removed the old ballasts and cut the wires off of them to wire the LED's up to the new tombstones. My package did not come with instructions but after a little searching online the installation was easy. You only have to wire up one side of the fixture (i.e. each tube has a positive and negative on each side), you only have to connect + and - on one side, the other side does not need to be connected to anything. The old tombstones can be used to hold the light in place on that other side of the tube, just cut and remove the wiring from them.

After I was all done I pushed the breaker back in, flipped the switch and was instantly surprised at the light output. These lights are much easier to see with because they are white. They make things look clearer and better if you ask me. Not only that but there is no more annoying hum, and the lights turn on instantly regardless of the temperature or humidity in the garage.

Now that I know what these lights look like I just bought two more to complete the fixture.
I would say the lights are just as bright as the 36W t10's they replaced but they put out a whiter, clearer light that is much better to work with. Great for the garage and shop!

Would recommend to anyone looking for some good LED tube lights.

Just the right LED upgrade for my living room candelabra bulbs 40 Watt Equivalent

Just the right LED upgrade for my living room candelabra bulbs 40 Watt Equivalent LED Candelabra Bulbs 40 Watt Equivalent-4W LEDs, Daylight (4000K) Light Bulbs Candelabra Base E12 LED, 160° Beam Angle, LED Lights for Home Lighting, LED Candles with Decoration I have finally had the need to replace one of the 60 Watt equivalent CFL 5000K candelabra daylight bulbs in my living room (ceiling light fixture with 6 bulbs) since recently purchasing this LED six-pack and must say that I am quite impressed with the quality of this lighting so far. Not only do these LED bulbs consume slightly less wattage (4 W) than the Utilitech compact fluorescent bulbs that I regularly purchased at my local Lowe’s, but they are also just as bright with a light output of about 400 lumens for the comparable CFLs. The absence of mercury in LEDs and the coolness of the lighting provided (You can touch and/or unscrew these at most warm-to-the-touch bulbs at any time with your bare hand without getting...

These light bulbs have a newer technology (MCOB) which use less energy and last longer

These light bulbs have a newer technology (MCOB) which use less energy and last longer. I had been buying CFL twist energy saver lightbulbs which I thought were nice, until I learned about these bulbs. The CFL energy saving bulbs I had last 12,000 hours and these MCOB HT-lights light bulbs last 35,000 hours. They are a little more expensive, but it's worth the money to invest because they use less energy and last more than twice as long. In the long run, you end up saving more money with the MCOB LED Bulbs. I also like the design and material these are made out of. If I were to drop one of these, I dont need to worry about it shattering like a CFL bulb would. They also don't get hot like CFL bulbs do. I think eventually, CFL bulbs will be phased out and all manufacturers will be selling MCOB bulbs. I got the daylight white colored ones and now would love to have a set of the warm color too. Definitely worth the investment and I would recommend these to everyone who buys st...
