Recessed LED Lighting,Sanlibang 5/6 inch 14W 2700K CRI90 Soft White Dimmable

Upon receiving this Recessed LED flood light I was pleasantly surprised! Not only is it very low profile as compared to its predecessor, but it is very easy to install!

This Sanlibang 14W LED lamp is the entire fixture and bulb all-in-one! The light is built-in to the housing, which slips into the existing recessed light and locks in via three tabs. The best part is that it installs just like a standard screw base light bulb. This particular model has a standard light bulb base. Install the bulb base, and slip the fixture into place! No electrician needed!

Once the light is on, you will be very pleased to see that it emits a very clean, cool-white light. At 4000K, it is just a tad under the super bright-white or daylight. The lamp is a direct replacement of a 100W incandescent bulb, yet only consumes 14 watts of power. That will translate into $$ in your pocket when it comes to your electric bill! This light installs cleanly while modernizing the look of recessed lighting.

Now for the real techy stuff. This light is rated to consume only 14 watts of electricity. If you are familiar and comfortable with light fixtures, this can be used a retrofit kit for older "can" lights. This lamp will install cleanly into a standard 6" diameter x 5.5" tall recessed light fixture. If you are not certain what this means, then remove the bulb from your recessed fixture and measure across from edge to edge, then measure the depth. If a socket plate has to be removed for installation, that socket plate does not have to be re-installed (per Sanlibang install instructions). This lamp is also dimmable if installed with a sliding control switch or rotating dimmer switch.

LED Light Glare occurs in the following three forms

Glare is a two-fold problem in which lights are reflected off surrounding surfaces so that the light scatters and causes vision problems. It doesn’t interfere with night vision, but makes it difficult to identify and place objects. For the problems of LED glare, all the manufacturers have adopted a variety of methods, some use the brushed PC mask ,others adopt the frosted mask or use the special phosphor materials, etc. , but these methods are not ideal, the drawing masks can eliminate glare, but the flare phenomenon is more serious , our eye tend to be fatigue under this lamp, if we are exposed to it over a prolonged period of time , but also cause eye astigmatism ; while the light loss of those using the mask and cream frosted is too large , the effect is bad.
