LED bulbs. I've purchased probably ten different bulbs from sanlibang and a few online retailers in order to get the ones I liked. I'm very picky about lighting to put it mildly. I ordered the first set of these to test and ordered maybe 24 more. It adds up but so very worth it. In all 28 bulbs, not a single one had an issue. I bought two as spare but I doubt I will ever have to use them. Better safe than sorry though. All 24 bulbs match each other perfectly. The CRI appears very high. Maybe 95% which is fantastic. I would put the Kelvin (whiteness) at 3000 which is ideal in my opinion for a bathroom (which is where I have these) so makeup and clothing choices are easier. They are bright and the whiter temperature makes them seem even brighter. They produce almost no heat which is a bonus and they obviously will be saving me money on the electric bill.

One thing to note, they are slippery. I dropped one bulb twice (it still worked and didn't scratch after being dropped from 8 feet up as I stood on a ladder) so be careful when crewing them in. The "glass" part actually seems to be made of plastic which is also a bonus in my book but it makes them harder to handle. Whaaaa....I know. looking for something to complain about at this point.

These light bulbs have a newer technology (MCOB) which use less energy and last longer. I had been buying CFL twist energy saver lightbulbs which I thought were nice, until I learned about these bulbs. The CFL energy saving bulbs I had last 12,000 hours and these MCOB HT-lights light bulbs last 35,000 hours. They are a little more expensive, but it's worth the money to invest because they use less energy and last more than twice as long. In the long run, you end up saving more money with the MCOB LED Bulbs. I also like the design and material these are made out of. If I were to drop one of these, I dont need to worry about it shattering like a CFL bulb would. They also don't get hot like CFL bulbs do. I think eventually, CFL bulbs will be phased out and all manufacturers will be selling MCOB bulbs. I got the daylight white colored ones and now would love to have a set of the warm color too.
