 Perfect for me. Great lumens at only 25 watts! 



Really nice light I love it. At only 25 watts 2500 lumens it's almost unbelievable. I read reviews about a similar one that concentrated to much light into a spot straight down. This one radiates the light pretty well, but a good mounting height is still a factor for good coverage. Mine is about 12' high and I get decent light out to around 30yds. IMO you could go up to about 20' for better coverage and still have good luminosity. Instead of putting mine in the 'eve' of my shop I mounted it just over the door to help light up my shop. It also adds great light to the place where a garage door usually covers a ceiling mounted fixture. If I need another of this type I will buy this one for sure

These light bulbs have a newer technology (MCOB) which use less energy and last longer. I had been buying CFL twist energy saver lightbulbs which I thought were nice, until I learned about these bulbs. The CFL energy saving bulbs I had last 12,000 hours and these MCOB HT-lights light bulbs last 35,000 hours. They are a little more expensive, but it's worth the money to invest because they use less energy and last more than twice as long. In the long run, you end up saving more money with the MCOB LED Bulbs. I also like the design and material these are made out of. If I were to drop one of these, I dont need to worry about it shattering like a CFL bulb would. They also don't get hot like CFL bulbs do. I think eventually, CFL bulbs will be phased out and all manufacturers will be selling MCOB bulbs. I got the daylight white colored ones and now would love to have a set of the warm color too.
