overall great LED light with ease of installation. i bought other LED recess lights which requires removal of current recess housing and possibly rewiring a while ago but they're still sitting in the box as i haven't found time to install them. i was curious to try this product as retrofitting sounded like a better solution. and indeed it is! i was able to install this almost instantly by removing the old bulb, and this snapped right in. i really like how easy and quick it was to install this product compared to other product that i had bought. i bought 3000k which seemed bright enough for me.

good:
- fast and easy installation (no removal of existing housing, no rewiring necessary)
- very bright warm light (3000k)
- dimmable

bad:
- compared to other LED recess light, the transparent glass diameter is smaller and may appeal less to some people
- housing is little bit smaller than my existing(standard) housing so the existing one does show up little on the perimiter
