Dimmer performance was terrible -- See the first part of the 3-part video (only allowed to upload one video per review so I combined my three). They flicker like crazy when all the bulbs on the dimmer are changed to these LEDs. Once at least one of the bulbs is incandescent, things tend to calm down SLIGHTLY. The best performance being when I put all of the incandescents back in and remove the LEDs.
The bulbs I got did come with a 10-year warranty if you register your bulbs at the URL printed on the package (I assume if you get frustration free packaging you may never even see the warranty language printed anywhere on the packaging). If you do NOT register at that URL, then the warranty is 5 years. Registering is easy and I did so.
They are very bright in terms of output -- (part 3 of the video). So that can be a good or bad thing, depending on what you're shooting for.
I don't really get the warm glow feeling from these lights. I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination but it seems like at full brightness (I put them on a non-dimming switch and attached a video) what I actually experience is closer to 3200K-3500K than 2700K. I'm basing this on completely unscientific google images examples and ultimately it feels like a cooler white than the advertised "warm glow" on the package.
Also, what I actually received was 6 individually packaged bulbs (Model 9290011555) from a third party seller (JDP Lighting and Hardware) with fulfillment by Amazon. What I actually placed an order for was the 6-pack in frustration free packaging (457044). I don't know if having received that exact SKU with that exact UPC Code would have resulted in me essentially receiving 6 of these same model bulbs or not. Perhaps other reviewers can look at the base of the bulb and look closely at the model number and see if it exactly matches 9290011555.
I'm deciding between keeping these on a non-dimming switch, returning them to amazon for a refund, or putting in a warranty request with Philips. I'll update the review with how any refund or warranty experience goes.
