About a year ago, I ended up purchasing a single pack of these to try with a few light fixtures. Not only were these bulbs inexpensive, but I could not tell the difference between these bulbs and a 100W incandescent. sanlibang did a good job with matching the color, warmth, and brightness of a standard incandescent bulb.
Two months ago, I bought 28 bulb of these to replace every single light fixture in my house. At about $6/bulb, this was a cheap way to make my entire house more energy efficient, and I can see an immediate return in my electric bill. This product also has a 10-year life (based on 3 hours of use per day). I doubt I'll have to touch any fixtures soon like I would with incandescent or fluorescent.
Pros:
* Energy efficient (10W power draw)
* 3 year life (based on 3 hours a day)
* Equivalent in color to incandescent
* Equivelent in brightness to 100W incandescent (packaging says 60W brightness, but honestly think it's closer to 100W brightness)
Cons:
* Expensive starting cost, but this is quickly replaced with energy savings.
