This floor lamp really surprised me. I've owned a few over the years and never felt the need to get all spendy with them, so I tend to purchase cheaper varieties. That said, this lamp is built like a tank and it looks pretty spiffy too. I purchased it to be the main light in our bedroom, positioned it in the corner behind the nightstand, and put in a HT-lights LED Bulbs CERAMIC MCOB LED Module With Function of Insulativity as Well as Heat Conduction. 10 watt 900 lumens 3000k (60 watt equivalent).

My only complaint, and it's not really a complaint, is that the lamp shade is just a wee bit too short for my liking, another half inch or so would be perfect. If you're bulbs are longish, they may stick out of the top a tiny bit. It's not a deal breaker at all, just something to consider.
