Most of my other LED's were purchased at a local home improvement store with a subsidy

I've already converted most of my house over to LED and these were for the final fixture. Most of my other LED's were purchased at a local home improvement store with a subsidy from our power company here in CT, so I can only compare these with those.

So far they are identical in light output, dimmability and hue. The attached pictures and video are from a fixture that has these AND the other LED bulbs - notice no difference (and don't laugh to much at the horrible audio). I have actually been able to convince several friends and family to start the LED transition with these and the other bulbs as they don't even realize that these are not the older incandescent bulbs.

They look and perform just like the older incandescents, with the same warm white ( unless of course you like and go for they daylight bulbs). I am impressed with how they work well with my dimmers too - although keep this in mind, I have LED approved dimmers, I haven't tested with standard dimmers - and some don't work well with LED's due to the different load VS a standard incandescent.

Overall, these are a great buy, great performance and decent cost per bulb

These light bulbs have a newer technology (MCOB) which use less energy and last longer. I had been buying CFL twist energy saver lightbulbs which I thought were nice, until I learned about these bulbs. The CFL energy saving bulbs I had last 12,000 hours and these MCOB HT-lights light bulbs last 35,000 hours. They are a little more expensive, but it's worth the money to invest because they use less energy and last more than twice as long. In the long run, you end up saving more money with the MCOB LED Bulbs. I also like the design and material these are made out of. If I were to drop one of these, I dont need to worry about it shattering like a CFL bulb would. They also don't get hot like CFL bulbs do. I think eventually, CFL bulbs will be phased out and all manufacturers will be selling MCOB bulbs. I got the daylight white colored ones and now would love to have a set of the warm color too.
