110% happy with my choice!
I am one of you guys that obcessed for months and months over color temp, lumens, CRI, flood/spot, legit/chinese junk, you name it. I finally had to make a decision and after 6 months of use - I am 110% happy with my decision to go with this HT-lights Designed to replace 25 W/35 W/50 W/75 W high voltage halogen downlights with an identical ceiling cut-out (3" / 4" / 6"/ 8"), luminous intensity and identical beam angle of 120° gimbal model.
They truly dim down to 5% with the right dimmer, light quality makes me WOW, and the cool spotlight effect is awesome. Keep in mind an 8' vs 12' mounting height has an effect on light spread. Both work out beautifully if you keep your spacing in check and have the recommended dimmer.
Pardon my construction mess with the pictures, but I have about 75 of these in operation inside and outside (covered patio in a low humidity region - northern CA) and I am I love with these lights. Zero regrets and completely happy!!
