I replaced a 100w incandescent with this LED bulb 18watt 1800 lumens

t's working good for me so far. I replaced a 100w incandescent with this LED bulb 18watt 1800 lumens. It's instant on, stays cool, and full brightness instantly even in a cold garage. I like the fact it's 4000k (bright white) color temperature and it matches the light output of the incandescent. Try and find a 100w LED in bright white 4000k . None of the big box stores even come close (I've looked). If your lucky you'll find 100W 3000k (no thank you). As you can see the sanlibang LED isn't a full glass bulb like an incandescent. The only thing that's SLIGHTLY different is the LED doesn't fully radiate light all the way around like an incandescent. For me I like the LED better as mines in a garage ceiling (pointing toward the floor). I don't care if it lights up the ceiling I want it to light up the rest of the garage and IT DOES REALLY WELL! Be aware it's a little bigger than an incandescent and heavier (typical for an LED with these specs)...

18W (100W 31800LM LED Light Bulb, 3000K Warm White (non-dimmable)

18W (100W 31800LM LED Light Bulb, 3000K Warm White (non-dimmable)  Very Bright and Great Light Dispersion Pattern I had great difficulty finding a dome-style bulb for our entryway. We previously had two 15W CFLs in a fixture with two bases, but our new one (punched metal pendant) has only a single down-facing E26 base. The 3000 lumens 3000K bulb illuminates not only our entryway, but the upper floor of our raised ranch. The dome shape casts a wide light and its frosting is pleasing to the eye. sanlibang 18W (1800 lumens) LED Light Bulb 100-watt-Equivalent

Led downlight lighting, great value and great packaging

Led downlight lighting, great value and great packaging Installed these in can lights I put inside the soffits of my new garage. They provide excellent light and I like the daylight-like 4000k hue. These were half the price of anything similar I've seen in any big box stores. The packaging was very nice too, if you care about that kinda thing. 12Watt 8"- Inch ENERGY STAR LED Downlight Retrofit Baffle Recessed Lighting Kit Fixture, 4000K Daylight LED Ceiling Light Location -- 1200 LM, CRI 80 http://www.sanlibang.com/led-light/LED-Downlight.html http://www.sanlibang.com/led-light/LED-Downlight.html

Great Lights - Had to bypass the ballast

Great Lights - Had to bypass the ballast Ok, took me a little time to figure out the wiring since mine did not work with my ballast. I had to bypass it. I know every ballast is different so this is how I had to wire mine to bypass it and make the lights work. My ballast is or rather was a Sunpark SL15T. On one side it has 2 Red Wires and 2 Blue Wires. On the other side it has the Black and White, as well as 2 Yellow and a Red and a Blu wire. I disconnected the Black and White wires then cut all the wires close to the ballast. Then I removed the ballast. I had to wire the 2 Red and 2 Blue (all from the same side) to the White wire. Then on the other I Wired the 2 yellow, the Red and the Blue to the Black wire. (note if you need more wire for the one side like I did just use the white or black wire that is on the ballast or use another wire to connect) See my images. Everything worked great after that, the lights are super bright and seem really well made. Th...

led tubes Great warmer light color, using it in my small walk-in closet

led tubes Great warmer light color, using it in my small walk-in closet The 4ft 18W T8 LED Tube Light "warm light" 3000k bulbs are great for my little walk in closet! We have very old fluorescent fixtures (over 15 years old) that my husband was able to rewire to make these work. Others have done a good job explaining how to do so, and I'm not an electrician so I'll move on to the actual light quality. We just put in led tube lights in our kitchen and laundry room, in neutral/daylight 5000k, and I love them in those spaces, the light is very clean and white and bright and so I figured I would love them in my small walk in closet as well. WRONG. Every time I looked at myself in the mirror in my closet with the 5000k light I would bring my hands to my face home-alone style and gasp in horror at the ghost before me. (The ghost was me). Anyways, so I immediately decided I needed a warmer light in there, so I switched out the 5k for these in 3000k and it's so much be...

well-priced bulbs with warm light A pair of standard-base BR30 led flood bulbs.

well-priced bulbs with warm light A pair of standard-base BR30 led flood bulbs. The warm light is evenly distributed, and only the bulb's modest weight gives away that it's an LED and not an incandescent. There's no warm-up, no buzz, and no extended fade-out. These 12W bulbs (1200 lumens) are easily brighter than my old 75W incandescents, and have lower power consumption than my first gen (14-15W) BR30 LEDs. The BR is for the shape of the bulb ("bulged reflector"). R30 / BR30 / PAR30 bulbs are all interchangeable, with some minor differences in light distribution. I love LEDs for their low power usage, the light output that doesn't fade, long life (infrequent replacements), and easy disposal (trash). All of these things make them consistently the best, most useful form of lighting available today. It's quite the major improvement from what was available just a few years ago. In almost all cases, the LED is now also the best priced option, e...

In the past I got CFL's and coiled LED's for my kitchen (see pic #1) and they were fine but I wanted more - better lighting Wanting to be more energy efficient, I researched light bulbs. In the past I got CFL's and coiled LED's for my kitchen (see pic #1) and they were fine but I wanted more - better lighting, longer life and better looking (see pic #2) and these bulbs delivered! They only consume 9 Watts of power and at 19 LED are equivalent to a 60. They also give full light right away as compared to my coiled that take a few minutes to give full light. The sanlibang bulbs are soft white yet so much brighter than any other bulb I've ever had. Now, working in the kitchen at night feels like the middle of the day, bright with no glare. Each bulb comes in it's own box so you can buy extra and store safely away until needed. I plan on replacing every light in my house to these. They have a projected life span of 35,000 hours. A lot longer than the CFL's I ha...

Just the right LED upgrade for my living room candelabra bulbs 40 Watt Equivalent

Just the right LED upgrade for my living room candelabra bulbs 40 Watt Equivalent LED Candelabra Bulbs 40 Watt Equivalent-4W LEDs, Daylight (4000K) Light Bulbs Candelabra Base E12 LED, 160° Beam Angle, LED Lights for Home Lighting, LED Candles with Decoration I have finally had the need to replace one of the 60 Watt equivalent CFL 5000K candelabra daylight bulbs in my living room (ceiling light fixture with 6 bulbs) since recently purchasing this LED six-pack and must say that I am quite impressed with the quality of this lighting so far. Not only do these LED bulbs consume slightly less wattage (4 W) than the Utilitech compact fluorescent bulbs that I regularly purchased at my local Lowe’s, but they are also just as bright with a light output of about 400 lumens for the comparable CFLs. The absence of mercury in LEDs and the coolness of the lighting provided (You can touch and/or unscrew these at most warm-to-the-touch bulbs at any time with your bare hand without getting...

These LED Flood bulbs do exactly as they are supposed to do

These LED Flood bulbs do exactly as they are supposed to do I decided to install 10 4 inch recessed lights in my living/dining room areas while remodeling. I decided on these bulbs mainly because they were affordable and dimmable. They dim down to about half the brightness of their non dimmed setting. I wish they dimmed all the way down to almost off, but these are still great. Hopefully the last bulbs I have to buy for the livingroom as long as I own this home. Very pleased with these lights. I have tried several other brands and returned then all. These even feel better. May sound strange, but it was the first thing I noticed when I unpacked them. They are solidly built, a little heavier than other brands. I installed then, flicked the switch and was very pleased with the bright white (day-light) light. Here's the best part, the price of these lights is lower than any comparable lights at the big box stores. Bottom line: great price and great product. Best of all, my w...

I have always hated how the CFLs flicker forever (2 to 3 seconds) I know that doesn't sound that long but I have literally turned on the light, it flickers I grab what I needed and turned it off before it stopped flickering. I thought I would try one of these Sanlibang LEDs and see how it works. It came fast and in good shape. I tried to install it but it wouldn't fit or so I t...

These 40 watt bulbs compared to 60 watt bulbs

These 40 watt bulbs compared to 60 watt bulbs. Comparing the 40 watt LED Classic Style Bulb to the 60 watt I have to say that since they are dimmable, and if you are predisposed to having a dimmer, or have it hooked up to Alexa with a wide range of dimmable options the 60 watts goes everywhere. As a standalone bulb on a night stand in a bedroom the 40 watt provides that hypnotic allure; something I am fond of in a lighting scene. On the other hand the 60 watt replacement will not only provide that level of light, dimmed it will cover the 40 watt level as well. (The 60 watt and 40 watt expressions are actually the replacement bulb level, not the actual wattage) That is where it gets interesting as well. The 40 watt equivalent bulb actually uses 6 watts, and the 60 watt equivalent actually uses 9.5 watts but get a load of this. The light output on the 40 watt is only 450 lumens, whereas the light output on the 60 is 800 lumens. You have nearly twice the amount of light for only ...

sanlibang Dimmable 65 Watt Equivalent Soft White BR30 Dimmable Led Light Bulb

sanlibang Dimmable 65 Watt Equivalent Soft White BR30 Dimmable Led Light Bulb We purchased our new home last March and after seeing our first power bill I knew I needed to do everything I can to bring the electric bill down. The kitchen, hallway and master bathroom had these sized incandescent flood lights in ceiling canisters that were really heating up the rooms. That may be nice when you are up north, but here in Sunny Florida, that simply will not do. Your air conditioning unit will work harder to cool the rooms when the light bulbs put off so much heat. I replaced them ALL today and I am absolutely thrilled. They were the exactly the same size of the bulbs I was replacing. The soft white is what I have in all my interior rooms. My exterior security lights are daylight bulbs. These lights put off a tremendous amount of light. I spent a lot of time pricing these  light bulbs  and this was the best deal on the market. I was able to get them for $4.50 a piece. ...

I bought these to replace 50 watt flood halogen bulbs.

I bought these to replace 50 watt flood halogen bulbs. Here are the pros: 1) the color is almost indistinguishable from the halogen (I got the 3000k) at full brightness. 2) these have excellent dimming capability, however that seems to be dependent on the fixture and or switch you use. In one location I used some IC HALO cans from homedepot and lutron diva dimmer and in another I used generic IC cans and a lutron maestro dimmer. The HALO cans had trouble dimming to low levels like the generic cans. The maestro dimmer was able to get the led bulbs dimmer than the halogen bulbs. 3) I could not tell the difference in color rendering between the halogen and these bulbs and I take that as a good thing. 4) brightness is about on par as a brand new halogen bulb, maybe slightly dimmer. However, halogen bulbs degrade over time and compared to my two year old halogen bulbs these were much brighter. Cons 1) unfortunately despite being "wide angle" flood bulbs, their angle of t...

my kitchen track lighting LED Spot Reflector Lamps

my kitchen track lighting LED Spot Reflector Lamps PAR16 LED Bulb, 5W (50W equivalent), 500 lumen, 3000K I absolutely love these...used them in my kitchen track lighting. The soft amber glow creates a subtle warmth you don't get from regular lights; yet the no evident utilitarian loss of brightness (possibly, the brightness doesn't extend as far compared to halogen bulbs). And please note the size as indicated in the seller's description. I was concerned with the length and didn't expect the bulb diameter to be so much smaller than my Par20 halogen bulbs (the end where the light emits). Fortunately, I was able to manipulate the fixture to accommodate the bulbs...and so worth it. They almost makes cooking and cleaning enjoyable! Hopefully the before and after pics I've included can give you an idea of the ambiance the amber glow creates. LED Spot Reflector Lamps http://www.sanlibang.com/led-light/LED-spot-reflector.html

Smaller LED that Shines Brighter

Smaller LED that Shines Brighter A few months ago, I bought an LED desk lamp from sanlibang and I was very satisfied so I decided to buy these LED bulbs from them for my floor lamp. I think I'm officially falling in love with sanlibang lighting now. Pros: Compared to CFL, these lights are bright from the moment you turn on. However, you could probably say the same for LEDs. I really like the length of these bulbs compared to other LEDs or CFLs. I have a floor lamp (second picture attached) that my old CFL bulbs bulged out a little bit but with these sanlibang led bulbs they fit perfectly. 3000K are awesome with just the right amount of softness. Not too yellow and not too white.

Target and a few online retailers in order to get the ones I liked. I'm very picky about lighting to put it

Target and a few online retailers in order to get the ones I liked. I'm very picky about lighting to put it LED bulbs . I've purchased probably ten different bulbs from  sanliban g and a few online retailers in order to get the ones I liked. I'm very picky about lighting to put it mildly. I ordered the first set of these to test and ordered maybe 24 more. It adds up but so very worth it. In all 28 bulbs, not a single one had an issue. I bought two as spare but I doubt I will ever have to use them. Better safe than sorry though. All 24 bulbs match each other perfectly. The CRI appears very high. Maybe 95% which is fantastic. I would put the Kelvin (whiteness) at 3000 which is ideal in my opinion for a bathroom (which is where I have these) so makeup and clothing choices are easier. They are bright and the whiter temperature makes them seem even brighter. They produce almost no heat which is a bonus and they obviously will be saving me money on the electric bill. led...

Can you use led bulbs in candlelabra lights ?

Can you use led bulbs in candlelabra lights ? Answer: As long as the base size matches you can, E12 bases are the norm for candelabras which is a smaller base. If you are using them outdoors make sure they are rated for outdoors gift will indicate this on the package). Yes. Candelabra is a base type on a light bulb. A candelabra is a smaller base type than a traditional general purpose lightbulb that would go in a lamp. Typically a candelabra base is called an E12 base and a traditional, general purpose base is called an Edison base or an E26 base. http://www.sanlibang.com/led-light/LED-Candelabra-Light-Bulbs.html

I have a lamp that uses 35 Watt Type B bulbs, will this work? Should be no problem. I am using these to replace all my incandescent and cfl small base (candlelabra), type b's. The longer fancier bulbs do not always fit within the glass shade on ceiling fan. How To Layout Recessed Lighting In 4 Easy Steps

How To Layout Recessed Lighting In 4 Easy Steps We received a question on Twitter about how to layout recessed lighting and realized it was a great topic for a how-to. If you're using recessed lights (aka cans, high hats, pot lights, or downlights ) to provide the general lighting in a room, follow these tips to create the ideal level of brightness: 1. Ready Your Sketchbook. Use a blueprint of the room to pencil in exactly where you want the recessed lights to go. Before you start, take measurements of any furniture in the room and create paper shapes that are correctly scaled for the blueprint. This way, you will be able to see where the light will fall. 2. Decide If You Want To Choose A Focal Point. If you know of a particular spot in the room that needs a recessed light directly above it, that should be your starting point. Laying out recessed lighting in a kitchen? You might want to be sure there is a light directly above the stovetop or sink. Planning for reces...

This is now the standard bulb for every light in my house

About a year ago, I ended up purchasing a single pack of these to try with a few light fixtures. Not only were these bulbs inexpensive, but I could not tell the difference between these bulbs and a 100W incandescent. sanlibang did a good job with matching the color, warmth, and brightness of a standard incandescent bulb. Two months ago, I bought 28 bulb of these to replace every single light fixture in my house. At about $6/bulb, this was a cheap way to make my entire house more energy efficient, and I can see an immediate return in my electric bill. This product also has a 10-year life (based on 3 hours of use per day). I doubt I'll have to touch any fixtures soon like I would with incandescent or fluorescent. Pros: * Energy efficient (10W power draw) * 3 year life (based on 3 hours a day) * Equivalent in color to incandescent * Equivelent in brightness to 100W incandescent (packaging says 60W brightness, but honestly think it's closer to 100W brightness) Cons: ...
