Great bulb for light  I have been changing all of my indoor ceiling can lights over to these type of LED bulb s so I decided to try one of these in a light fixture we have outdoors above our garage door. These types of bulbs are supposed to provide super bright light and not have to be replaced for a long time so it is perfect for the tough place that I need it to go. I did not use this bulb in a dimmable fixture so I can not speak to the effectiveness of that feature. I had a CFL light in this outdoor fixture, but I hate how CFL's take so long to light up and they are not bright at all. LED's are so much better, brighter and energy efficient. I wanted this light above the garage for security and safety so this bulb is perfect, it provides instant brightness instead of having to wait while they "warm up" like my previous CFLs. Dimmer performance was terrible -- See the first part of the 3-part video (only allowed to upload one video per review so I combined my three). They flicker like crazy when all the bulbs on the dimmer are changed to these LEDs. Once at least one of the bulbs is incandescent, things tend to calm down SLIGHTLY. The best performance being when I put all of the incandescents back in and remove the LEDs. The bulbs I got did come with a 10-year warranty if you register your bulbs at the URL printed on the package (I assume if you get frustration free packaging you may never even see the warranty language printed anywhere on the packaging). If you do NOT register at that URL, then the warranty is 5 years. Registering is easy and I did so. They are very bright in terms of output -- (part 3 of the video). LED lights Best MR16 Halogen Alternative These LED lights are the best MR16 halogen alternative I've ever tried including pricier Philips and Osram. They are heavy and seem to have a higher build quality. I got both 3000K and 2700K versions in 600 degrees, and 2700K is closer to halogen color. These 3000K bulbs have a tad whiter light than my halogens, and I preferred the 2700K for kitchen light. The only negative point is that these bulbs are about 1/8" longer than standard MR16 LED Spot Reflector Lamps , so they didn't fit in my older track light fixture that has a glass reflector. Also, the first time that I tried them, they started to blink/flash rapidly on my Lutron Caseta dimmer. Then I learned how to adjust the high level trim on the dimmer switch, and when I lowered the high level trim preset, they just stopped flashing and worked perfectly. You can find more info about how to adjust high and low level trims in Lutron user manual.

Mine is about 12' high and I get decent light out to around 30yds. IMO you could go up to about 20' for better coverage and still have good luminosity. Instead of putting mine in the 'eve' of my shop I mounted it just over the door to help light up my shop. HTlights Bulbs 18-Watt 1800 lumens (120-Watt) PAR38 LED Flood Light Bulb We have used this for about 4-5 days and been satisfied so far. Unlike the bulbs we used before (LED bulbs that we bought in Amazon and that are no longer sold), theae bulbs are a little more focal. This means that there are some shaded spots here and there, but we have been fine with it because of the brightness. My wife and I grew up in Asian culture where you keep the house very bright. We are not sure about the longerivity yet which will be a very important factor for us if we would buy them again. I really like the warm white color 3000k which is easier on the eyes rather than the daylight white. These LEDs are bright (400 lumen) for only 5 watts as you can see in my video. They have a beam angle of 38 deg which works well in my office area and with a life span of 50,000 hours, you should never have to replace them. The package contains 6 LEDs and the bulbs seem to be made well and pretty durable. I think these LEDs are great and would recommend them to anyone in need of replacement GU10 type bulbs. I received these LEDs for my honest and unbiased review. These type LED light bulbs are just what I was looking for! LED Flood Light Bulbs Par20 Par30 Par38 I bought the day light version, they are very bright, used them for recessed lights. We ordered nine bulbs from a different company and they were way too small. Sent those back and ordered these. Shipping was quick, packaging was fine and all eight lights screwed in and worked. The light color is more bluish white than I anticipated but in all fairness, it is a much better color than the traditional bulbs these replaced. We have 8 recessed "cans" in the kitchen that don't like bulb heat and tend to get warm. With these, those days are gone. We have two more bulbs to install in the breakfast nook but I left those in so users could see the difference in light. Rated 5 stars due to the caution against use with dimmers and fully enclosed fixtures. Love these 40 watt equivalent LED bulbs. Used them to replace regular 40 watt bulbs in a bathroom light fixture. I always hated seeing the ugly curly bulbs and the regular bulbs have black lettering on the top that is visible in those over the mirror fixtures. These LEDs have the look of a regular bulb without the ugly black lettering and actuLly look nice in the light fixture. I will be ordering more of this HTlight led bulbs in 40 and 60 watt equivalent as I get around to replacing all of the bulbs in my house. The only thing I cannot attest to is if they last as long as LEDs claim to. Time will tell.

Replacing 160 fluorescent tubes T8/T10/T12, 4FT, LED Light Tube, Dual-End Powered, Easy Ballast I've been looking to switch my fluorescent tubes out with led for about a year but held of because of the cost and general PITA of doing the switch. Anyway I noticed the cost of they LED Light Tubes T8 / T10 / T12,4FT  HTlights were reasonable so I went ahead and bought 4 of the 5000k clear tubes and 4 of the 4000k frosted tubes to try out in my house. It was really easy to bypass the ballast on both the single ballast double ballast fixtures I have. On the single ballast fixtures one side had blue and red wires and the other side had yellow wires. I connected the black wire to the red/blue wires and the white wire to the yellow. Followed the same pattern on the dual ballast fixtures... black to red/blue and white to yellow. My understanding is you can go either way but it worked for me on the first fixture so why change? Now the important part, the light was fantastic, IM

LED Tubes fixture better than the old fluorescent tube lights! Wow, what a difference 1 light tube is brighter than the 2 fluorescents, will be ordering more. They were easy to install. Here is a photo of 1 LED tube (on right) vs the 2 fluoresents (on Left) A few years back I installed a used florescent light fixture in my garage. The light fixture had four t10 tubes and two ballasts. The light worked great during the summer months. But if it rained or was humid, or during the winter months getting the light to turn on was nearly impossible. Very frustrating when you need to get something fixed or want to work on a project but can't. I could have replaced the ballast and bulbs and solve the problem. Then there was also the annoying constant hum.... Anyways I bought two ( HTlights t8 LED's 4000K 18W Tubes ) of these lights and 4 tombstones. LED Downlights Great value and Dimmer capabilities work flawlessly with correct Dimmer  These lights are fantastic!  I was a little worried about purchasing them with many reviews suggesting there was a humming noise when used with a dimmer. I actually bought 4 LED of another brand at Home Depot as backup as I was using an electrician to install the lights.  They went in super easy using the led downlight brand housing units [4" Remodel LED Can Air Tight IC HTlights LED Recessed Lighting- CE Listed and Title 24 Certified]]. The next task was testing out the dimming.  A CS rep from HTlights LED Downlights sent me a message after the purchase explaining that I needed to use a compatible dimmer for optimal performance. I asked them to provide me with the list which is also available on the website. My electrician used the DVCL-153P Diva Dimmer , and it dims perfectly. I plan on buying several more of these and outfitting the rest of my house!

You can run all 6 bulbs and use only 36 watts, a very compelling reason to change out your most frequently used lights!! We have been changing out the lights that we use most frequently with LED bulbs after one of my husbands co-workers mentioned that he went to LED bulbs in his home and noticed that his electric bill was over $100.00 less the first month. Granted, the co-worker has 4 kids living at home, so I don't expect to realize that type of savings, yet when you realize that you can run all 6 of these bulbs and use only 36 watts, that is a very compelling reason to change out your most frequently used lights. These LED Light HTlights 40 watt bulbs compared to 60 watt bulbs. Comparing the LED Light HTlight 40 watt LED Classic Style Bulb to the 60 watt I have to say that since they are dimmable, and if you are predisposed to having a dimmer, or have it hooked up to Alexa with a wide range of dimmable options the 60 watts goes everywhere. As a standalone bulb on a night stand in a bedroom the 40 watt provides that hypnotic allure; something I am fond of in a lighting scene. On the other hand the 60 watt replacement will not only provide that level of light, dimmed it will cover the 40 watt level as well. (The 60 watt and 40 watt expressions are actually the replacement bulb level, not the actual wattage) That is where it gets interesting as well. The 40 watt equivalent bulb actually uses 4 watts, and the 60 watt equivalent actually uses 9.5 watts but get a load of this. Bought this HTlights 60-Watt Equivalent A19 LED Light Bulb from my local Har Dware store, because the price was just unbelievable. Two LED bulbs for one Abraham Lincoln? This is even cheaper than most CFL bulbs! At this price, I suspect Philips may have cut some corners in order to keep the manufacturing cost down. Most obvious sign is that the advertised life span is only 10,000 hours, compared to 35,000 hours for most other HTlights LED bulbs. The metal body (which acts as the heat sink) is much smaller compared to other HTlights A19 LED bulbs (such as the HTlights 10 watt A19 LED Bulb . This has the advantage that it makes the light distribution more uniform. But smaller heat sink also means the bulb may have problem dissipating its heat generated. This appears to be exactly the case according to my observation.
